First American to Win a Race in the Moto 4 Spanish Championship! plus a two Time MotoAmerica Mini Cup National Champion!
Mikey’s pedigree is robust and with that was able to start riding at a very early age. His first foray into riding motorcycles was at the age of three years old. Growing up on a ranch outside Austin TX, allowed Mikey to be able to ride his 50CC dirt bike everyday where he learned a lot of the fundamentals. From there, when Mikey was five years old, he honed his skills racing and competing in Flat Track at the Colin Edwards Texas Tornado Boot Camp (TTBC).
At eight years of age, Mikey furthered his development by roadracing in the Texas Mini GP and CMRA club level series. Notching wins in a multitude of categories across the next two years led Mikey to the national stage where he competed in the Moto America Mini Cup series. Mikey secured two championships at the national level and he quickly set his sights on the world arena.
His natural talent has allowed him to evolve his racecraft and for the last two years, Mikey has supplemented his program by competing at the highest level of motorcycle roadracing in the world, both the Spanish ESBK and CIV series.
